The PWD Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Laboratory is an integral component of Vanuatu’s quality assurance infrastructure, which ensures that the country’s physical infrastructure is of top notch quality and nothing less than Vanuatu’s citizen deserve. The CMT provides batteries of tests for the following materials: Soil, Pavement/Earthworks, Concrete, Hollow Block and Aggregate.

Below you’ll find a downloadable price list and the associated test request forms.

Recommended procedure for requesting a materials test from the PWD CMT lab is as follows:

1. Download the appropriate test request form (excel document) below.
2. Have the project engineer complete the form with the appropriate details and requested tests and then print the form.
3. Deliver the printed form along with materials to be tested to the PWD CMT Lab located in the Nambatu area of Port Vila as detailed below.
