Between 2012 and 2014, PWD Force Account Team did road clearance between Tiviur and Bigwota in Vanua Lava. No gravelling works was done after the clearance until 2018 when PWD with the assistance of R4D engaged a small-scale contractor to gravel the 800m section of this road. The 9KM road from Sola to Bigwota is Vanua Lava’s main feeder road that links Sola to West Vanua Lava.
