    Dear Potential Bidders,
     
    The Public Works Department wishes to inform you of changes to the Pre-Tender Meeting date and RFQ closing dates for the following tenders:
    1. 01/25/WK/RFQ/AY/MA/RR/RC/VAI4D/PWD – Construction of 120m Fiber Reinforced Concrete Pavement at Ranmohu Hill and 10m Plum Concrete at Fona between Olal to Ranon, North Ambrym.
    2. 02/25/WK/RFQ/AY/MA/RR/RC/VAI4D/PWD – Construction of 170m Fiber Reinforced Concrete Pavement at Fantcheveur Hill (Junction) between Linbul and Melvat on Olal to Ranon Road, North Ambrym.
    3. 04/25/WK/RFQ/AY/MA/RR/RC/VAI4D/PWD – Construction of 120m Fiber Reinforced Concrete Pavement and 15m Steel Reinforced Concrete Drift at Sanai Hill and Creek between Ulei to Taviak, Southeast Ambrym.
    4. 15/25/WK/RFQ/EP/SH/RR/RC/VAI4D/PWD – Construction of 4 Steel Reinforced Concrete Drifts and 130m Fiber Reinforced Concrete Pavement at Moriu and Nikaura on Vaemali to Leba Road Section on Epi.
    Updated Details
    Pre-Tender Meeting:
    • Date: 26th November 2024 (not 16th November 2024 as previously communicated).
    • Locations:
      • Location 1: PWD Office, Lakatoro, Malekula – 10:00 AM
      • Location 2: PWD Head Office, Port Vila, Efate – 10:00 AM
    Closing Date for RFQs:
    • New Date: 5th December 2024, 12:00 PM (not 26th November 2024 as previously communicated).

    Important Reminder
    Additionally, tender documents can be collected from PWD Officers in Lakatoro and Port Vila.

    The Pre-Tender meeting will be held on Malekula and Efate on two locations;
    Location 1- PWD Office, LAKATORO, MALEKULA.
    Date: 16th November 2024
    Time: 10am 
    Location 2 – PWD HEAD OFFICE, PORT VILA, EFATE
    Date: 16th November 2024
    Time: 10am
    NB.      Tenderers must verify that they are complying with Vanuatu Tax Laws relating to VAT by submitting a letter from Customs Office to verify that they are up to date with their VAT payments. And all contractors can liaise with PWD Officers in Lakatoro and Port Vila for the collection of tender documents.
    The closing date of the Request for Quotation (RFQ)  is 27 November 2024 and Time being: 12:00pm.
