Two road projects, the concreting of a 210-meter road section in Nebul Centre Hill and the 210 meters pavement at Linbul in North Ambrym Island, has been completed by PWD with the support of R4D2.  PWD awarded the road projects to a small-scale contractor, Yake Construction.  The contractor managed to complete both contracts on 18 December 2020.

Villagers at Linbul and Nebul were delighted to see one of the primary bottlenecks has been resolved. Mr Jackson Willie, area administrator of North Ambrym said, "Before, the people and vehicles did not access Nebul Hill and Linbul Hill because these areas were very slippery during heavy rain and there were huge holes on the road. I am very happy that the road was concreted. Vehicles and people are now accessing the road every day. I am also happy to see that the drainage system has been well built as the water goes straight to the sea, not creating any holes or blockage on the road ".
